"We can't have it both ways"
This entry was posted on 4/29/2007 9:50 PM and is filed under Global Warming,Action.
The title is from a April 20, 2007
article on global warming and local activists in the
Isthmus -- Madison, Wisconsin's alternative weekly.
The author, Linda Falkenstein, goes on to write, "We can't point to global warming as a looming catastrophe that cries out for forceful action, then ridicule and dismiss all calls for dramatic change."
Right on.
From my
first post, "
We can be proactive now, or have disruptions thrust upon us later" and "The sooner we address an escalating problem, the easier it is to fix."
